On this day, we're going to get your taste buds tingling (and your calves working).
Discovering a region also means coming to terms with its customs, traditions and specialities!
If you love culinary discoveries when you visit a region, then this is the experience for you.
But before you settle down for a tasting, a bit of sport...
Before you leave, make sure you're properly equipped.
Here's our little reminder:

Bike outing
Around Glamping Sainte Suzanne, from numerous footpaths and cycle paths are waiting for you. This morning, head for Evron! Leave your car at Glamping Sainte Suzanne and hop in the saddle: this cycle loop is suitable for all levels and is around 17 km round trip.
The terrain is fairly flat, so you won't have any trouble covering the miles. There are few cars on the route, so you can ride in complete peace and safety.
Along the way, you'll pass through a variety of landscapes offering magnificent views of the region. Pedal at your own pace and make the most of the view!
Once you arrive in Evron, let yourself be seduced by the charm of its narrow streets. Don't miss its magnificent basilica, and take time to stroll around the local market. Soak up the friendly atmosphere and stock up on regional produce - a must for holidaymakers!
With your rucksack full of local delicacies, you can head back to the Glamping site.
Evron market: Thursday mornings from 8.30am to 1pm

Head back to Glamping Sainte Suzanne.
After these few kilometres, you'll have earned a well-deserved break. You can sit down outside your accommodation for a drink and reminisce about this eventful morning.
For lunch, it's time to try a delicious local dish bought at the market that morning.
Discover the Mayenne pie. A speciality made with beef chuck that we highly recommend.
Take advantage of the mild sunshine to take an invigorating break and prepare for the afternoon ahead.
What are we doing this afternoon?
After a rather sporty morning, let's move on to a gentler afternoon. We're offering you an original experience: "Discovering edible plants". Dive into the fascinating world of plants!
Marie Girard's gardens are just a 20-minute drive away. Passionate about botany, Marie invites you to take part in a number of events and will be delighted to share her knowledge with you.
How the activity works :
In the gardens, you'll learn to recognise edible plants by looking at them, touching them, smelling them and even tasting them! You'll harvest the plants directly before preparing them on the spot, while discovering their benefits.
For prices and bookings, contact Marie directly.
Let's stay in nature
After this enriching activity, let's stay in the same mood. We're off to the "A tout bout d'champs" farm, just 12 minutes away by car.
On site, you can immerse yourself in the world of the farm and meet all the animals. It's an activity that children love. The team also offers creative workshops and other fun activities. The passionate farmers will be delighted to show you their approach to peasant farming and share their daily lives with you.
You'll also have the chance to sample the farm's produce, including fresh apple juice and local potatoes.
This day of gourmet discoveries is coming to an end.
