Glamping de Sainte Suzanne is located at the foot of the medieval town of Sainte Suzannein Mayenne, between Laval and Le Mans, in the Pays de la Loire region.

Sainte Suzanne, nicknamed "the pearl of Maine", is one of the most beautiful villages in France. It is said to be "Beautiful and Rebellious" and is famous for having stood up to William the Conqueror!

From the top of its rocky peak, Sainte Suzanne is built in the shape of a triangle and rises to a height of 70 metres. The river Erve flows past its feet, the Charnie forest surrounds it and the hills of the Coëvrons embellish it!

  • Le Château de Sainte Suzanne and its ramparts are open to the public. You can see a Romanesque keep, a former bakery and sheepfold, the Watchtower, as well as a breathtaking view of the Coëvrons hills.
  • CIAP The Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine (Architecture and Heritage Interpretation Centre) is located inside the ramparts, in the dwelling of Guillaume Fouquet de la Varenne. It is a place to discover the heritage of the Pays d'art et d'histoire Coëvrons-Mayenne and the Mayenne region in general.
  • The river ErveThe Erve, a tributary of the Sarthe and therefore a sub-tributary of the Loire, has its source in the Coëvrons. In Sainte Suzanne, 17 watermills have sprung up along the Erve. You can admire some of them on the Mill Walk!
  • The Musée de l'Auditoire retraces almost 3,000 years of the medieval city's history. It is currently being renovated.
